Hello from TrackGPT

chatgpt shopify visibility

More shoppers are asking ChatGPT what to buy. They type "best magnesium supplement" or "a good rain jacket for commuting," and ChatGPT answers with a shortlist of brands and products. If your store is on that list, you get the sale. If it isn't, you never find out why.

That blind spot is why we built TrackGPT.

We're the team behind PriceMole, and we spend our days watching how ecommerce brands show up — or don't — in places their customers actually look. ChatGPT is quickly becoming one of those places, and unlike a Google ranking, there's no report telling you where you stand.

What TrackGPT does

TrackGPT watches ChatGPT shopping answers for the questions your customers ask, and tells you three things:

  • Whether ChatGPT mentions your store for a given prompt, and where you rank against competitors.
  • Your share of voice over time, so you can see whether you're winning, contested, losing, or invisible.
  • The exact answers, saved as receipts — the real text ChatGPT returned, so every number traces back to something you can read.

We track weekly trends, not single-day noise, and we show sample counts on everything. If a number is an estimate, we label it as one.

What it doesn't do yet

TrackGPT is monitoring, not magic. In this first version we track ChatGPT only, and we don't write changes to your store or promise to "fix" your ranking. Our job is to make the invisible visible — measurement first.

You can't improve what you can't see. That's the whole idea.

Monitoring, not guessing
